TEE Time (So I Thought): Still some lumps though.

March 13, 2006

I was going to put the whining of the past few days behind (except to say it would be nice if the img ‘HSPACE’ attribute was supported – or at least ALIGN, HEIGHT & WIDTH to allow some control); and get on with the original case discussion. BUT… it is hours after I tried to add these image links. At least they now work. It would really be nice if standard img attributes could be used – that is not a security issue.

Click For Video Click For Cartoon Outline Likely I can live with that. But enough frustration for one day (actually, it has been enought for at least three). Each time I save the text, it chops a bit more out of the image links, until they eventually disappear, and I have to paste them back in from my wordprocessor. Clearly, it is parsing them, and doing a very bad job of it.

Alles das ist für jetzt Völker, vielleicht morgen?

TEE: Not Time For yet, but sometime.

I had forgotten how much time doing anything new with a computer will waste. This seemed a simple concept: put up a blog page with a small TEE clip. Talk about it. Move on to the next clip.

Surely there must be sites devoted to VLOGS (video logs). I envisioned pages with videos embedded amoungst the text.

Getting started with a blog is not nearly as hard as getting started with ECHO

March 4, 2006

But both are difficult. So, will simply begin at the beginning with a brief introduction to echocardiography, with the aim of showing the usefulness of TEE/TTE in the care of many cardiovascularly unstable patients.

Of course, I still have to WRITE this! In the meantime, here are a couple of links that will get you going.

First is to a helpful TEE Cue Card, the second to a nice echo overview (Mostly TTE).
